Course content
In this course, you will gain fundamental knowledge of the life cycle perspective (LCP). The course introduces key concepts and explains the role and purpose of LCP in sustainable development and environmental management. You will also learn about life cycle assessment (LCA), including what it is and how it can be applied. Finally, you will gain knowledge and inspiration to start applying the life cycle perspective in your own organisation.
The course is divided into four modules:
- An introduction to the life cycle perspective (LCP).
- An introduction to life cycle assessment (LCA).
- How and when to use life cycle assessment.
- How to get started, including tools and ways forward.
The course and each module contain a mix of lectures, exercises, and advice on further reading to support your learning.
